Although James Wan’s Fast & Furious 7 doesn’t open until July 11, 2014, you can get a sneak peek at a new scene by picking up Justin Lin’s Fast & Furious 6 Extended Edition on Blu-ray. The special features section offers a look at a scene in the upcoming film, but we’ve kept the details of it after the jump since they’re rather spoilery. The ending of Fast & Furious 6 was revelatory for a couple of reasons: for one thing, it showed that the order of preceding movies in the franchise were not necessarily in chronological order, and for another, it revealed at least one villain who would be appearing in Fast & Furious 7. An explanation behind all of this vague rambling can be found after the jump.
Co-starring alongside Dwayne Johnson in Justin Lin’s upcoming Fast & Furious 6 is the tough and talented Gina Carano (Haywire). Carano plays Agent Hobbs’ partner Riley, who both team up with Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew in order to take down an elite group of militarily-trained specialists led by Owen Shaw (Luke Evans). Carano took the time to talk to us about her experience working on her first big action franchise movie, fight choreography, and learning from director Lin. She also talked about how her experience in Haywire has changed her life, her future goals in her movie career and her upcoming film, In the Blood.
Also starring Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang and Gal Gadot, Fast & Furious 6 opens May 24th. Hit the jump to read the full interview.
Opening later this month is director Justin Lin’s Fast & Furious 6. The adrenaline-fueled high-octane action franchise continues in this installment that sees Dom Toretto’s crew teamed up with Agent Hobbs in order to bring down an international criminal with military training. We’ve got over 40 hi-res images from the film to share with you after the jump!

While I already posted the first posters for Spike Lee‘s Oldboy, James Wan‘s Insidious: Chapter 2, Robert Schwentke’s R.I.P.D., and a great display for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, I’ve still got a ton of pictures left to post. However, rather than offering them up one article at a time, I’m grouping them all into one huge article.
While a lot of the posters you’ve previously seen, there are a few new things like the first logo for Paul Greengrass‘ Somali pirate pic Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks, the first poster for Where the Devil Hides, and the first display for Jimmy Hayward’s Free Birds starring Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson and Amy Poehler. In addition, you can also check out posters/displays for Star Trek Into Darkness, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, Despicable Me 2, Fast and Furious 6, Man of Steel, The Lone Ranger, The Heat, Elysium, The East, The Wolverine, The Mortal Instruments, and a lot more.
Tonight’s the night for high-adrenaline TV spots. We just posted a new glimpse at footage from Iron Man 3 and now a new action-packed teaser for Justin Lin’s Fast & Furious 6 is now available. There are so many military vehicles and a jacked up Dwayne Johnson that I thought this was G.I. Joe: Retaliation for a second, but the presence of Vin Diesel (and a massive tank) set me back on course.
Also starring Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Michelle Rodriguez and Gina Carano, Fast & Furious 6 opens May 24th. Hit the jump to watch the new TV spot.
Universal Pictures has released the first featurette for director Justin Lin’s upcoming sequel Fast & Furious 6. The film moves the action of the franchise across the pond to Europe, where Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) is trying to stop a group of mercenary drivers led by an unnamed mastermind (Luke Evans) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez). Hobbs recruits Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew to help bring down the criminal outfit, and in exchange will provide pardons for the Rio heist. This featurette offers a quick behind-the-scenes look at the pic, focusing specifically on the return of some familiar characters and how they fit into the story. Interestingly, Rodriguez reveals that she didn’t know she appeared at the end of Fast Five until she saw the movie herself.
Hit the jump to check out the featurette. The film also stars Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris Bridges, Elsa Pataky, and Gina Carano. Fast & Furious 6 opens May 24th.
Opening this week is Ric Roman Waugh’s new thriller Snitch, based on the true story of a man (played by Dwayne Johnson) whose son is wrongly accused of dealing drugs and is facing decades behind bars under the mandatory minimum sentencing laws. Johnson strikes a deal—he will help lead to an arrest if his son can go free. He soon finds himself caught up in a massive undercover mission that could lead to the arrest of a Mexican Cartel drug lord—but at a potentially deadly cost. The film also stars Jon Bernthal, Barry Pepper, Benjamin Bratt, Rafi Gavron, and Michael K. Williams.
Recently I was able to speak to Mr. Johnson about the film Snitch in an exclusive interview. As it turns out, he’s a big Collider fan, with a sweet spot for Steve! He also told me about signing on to do the film and connecting with his character as a father who would also do anything for his kids. I also got some details about Fast and Furious 6, and the scoop on upcoming films Pain and Gain, G.I. Joe: Retaliation and his passion project Hercules. Tonight during Super Bowl XLVII, new ads ran for Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Lone Ranger, Oz the Great and Powerful, World War Z, Snitch, 21 & Over, and Fast & Furious 6. If you missed the big game, aren’t planning to watch the game, or just want to watch the ads again, we’ve got them all in one handy article. Now that all the ads have been posted, I’ve added my thoughts.

Over the past few months, we’ve heard a number of different titles (Fast Six, Furious 6) for the 6th installment in the Fast and Furious franchise. But thanks to the studio releasing the first poster, we know it’s officially called Fast and Furious 6. While I understand the logic in that title, I think Furious 6 sounds a lot cooler.
As we learned the other day when we posted the synopsis, the new film has Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) trying to stop a group of mercenary drivers led by an unnamed mastermind (Luke Evans) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez). Hobbs recruits Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew to help bring down the criminal outfit, and in exchange will provide pardons for the Rio heist. The film also stars Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, and Gina Carano. Hit the jump to check out the first poster and come back tomorrow to check out the first footage from the film.
In this weekend’s Bullet To The Head, Sarah Shahi (Fairly Legal) and Sung Kang (The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift) co-star opposite Sylvester Stallone as his daughter and ‘partner’ respectively, the twosome forming an unlikely romance much to Sly’s chagrin. After Taylor Kwon’s (Kang) corrupt police partner is murdered, he teams up with the betrayed hit-man responsible (Stallone) to uncover who put the hit on in the first place. As the duo get closer to those responsible (Christian Slater, Jason Momoa, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), the villains attempt to get some leverage of their own turning their sights onto Sly’s estranged daughter Lisa (Shahi).
In the following interview with Shahi and Kang, the twosome talk working opposite Stallone, what drew them to the project and breaking conventional stereotypes. In addition, Kang discusses his ‘tragic’ Fast and Furious character Han and what to expect in Furious Six. For the full interview, hit the jump.
Dallas is back on TNT for a second season of back-stabbing, plot-scheming and blackmailing fun. Just like its original incarnation, the drama centers on the Ewing clan, an enormously wealthy Texas family whose sibling rivalries, romantic betrayals, corruption and even murder are truly legendary. The show stars Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong and Mitch Pileggi.
During this recent exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Jordana Brewster, who plays Christopher’s (Metcalfe) love and business partner Elena Ramos, talked about how much she has enjoyed seeing her character come into her own this season, where her heart is at now, her hopes for a wedding, who the bigger threat is, getting to see more of Elena’s family this season, and how the absence of Larry Hagman (with his passing on November 23, 2012) will affect the show. She also talked about how excited she is for the Fast and Furious 6 (Furious 6) trailer to debut during the Super Bowl on February 3rd (it will be her first time seeing any footage from the film), how the fans won’t be let down this time around, and that the stunts in this one will one-up the last one yet again. Check out what she had to say after the jump.

Vin Diesel is ridiculously popular on Facebook (37 million likes), and he’s done a good job at using his page to promote his upcoming projects. Today, he has revealed a new image from Fast & Furious 6, and he also provided a confirmation that the first trailer will premiere during the Super Bowl on February 3rd. That’s a scant three months before the film opens, but the Super Bowl is the perfect place to show off a trailer for a movie like Fast & Furious 6. Presumably, we’ll start seeing some posters soon, and since Super Bowl ad time is ridiculously expensive, a longer trailer should debut online or in theaters soon after the Super Bowl spot.

Between the Twitter-happy Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson and the Facebook savvy Vin Diesel, we’ve seen quite a few candid behind-the-scenes images from the set of the upcoming sequel Fast & Furious 6. As production now winds down on director Justin Lin’s follow-up, Diesel has shared a couple more photos from the set. One is just the actor behind the wheel, but another image features Diesel, Paul Walker, and Jordana Brewster. The image’s caption notes that the three first came together as the characters in 1999, and it’s crazy to think that a decade and five films later the series is still going strong with the same core cast.
Hit the jump to take a look at the images. The film also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Joe Taslim, and Luke Evans. Fast & Furious 6 opens May 24, 2013.
Vin Diesel loves to show his fans images from his upcoming movies (which reminds me: when are we going to see Riddick?), and he’s now showed off two still from Fast and Furious 6. Naturally, it shows Diesel playing the hero as he looks cool in front of a sweet car, and hugging a child. We don’t know much about the film beyond it involving dueling heist crews, but Fast and Furious 6 clearly isn’t just about explosions and cars, people. It’s got a lot of heart.
