When last we reported on the development of author Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places adaptation, Amy Adams was in negotiations to star. Now it appears that Charlize Theron (Prometheus) is circling the role instead. Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah Keys) wrote the script and is set to direct the decidedly dark drama that centers on a woman who survived the brutal murder of her family when she was seven.
