Warner Bros in Negotiations to Make GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS Movie

In the style of Paramount’s attempts to make a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not film franchise, Warner Bros is said to be in talks to secure to rights to the Guinness Book Of World Records for an action adventure movie. The reference book was created in the 1950s after Sir Hugh Beaver, the then managing director of the Guinness Breweries, attended a shooting party in Ireland and become embroiled in a very Monty Python-esque argument about which was the fastest game bird in Europe (but is it unlaiden?) Unable to find an answer, the party realized the benefit of having a book full of records.
To see how the longest fingernails, most tattoos and the record of a man who can run backwards faster than any human might be turned into a film, hit the jump.
