Let’s be honest, the Home Alone franchise has been dead ever since Alex D. Linz tried to sit in for Macaulay Culkin as an all new character defending his house against criminals in Home Alone 3. A young Scarlett Johansson even appears in that film, but she probably wants to forget that as much as we do. Since then another terrible sequel with a new young actor bringing Kevin McCallister back into the mix and new burglars featuring French Stewart, but nobody has really been paying attention.
