Got an interesting installment of Limited Paper for you today, folks. This Friday, Ltd Art Gallery (located in Seattle, WA, don’tcha know) opens its doors on Mint Condition 2, another superhero-themed showcase featuring new artwork from a bunch of artists that we’ve covered many times in the past here at Limited Paper: Bruce Yan, Ian Glaubinger, Tim Anderson, Sam Ho (the show also includes an original piece by some n00b named Scott Wampler, but we’ll get to that in a minute). Wanna see some exclusive images from the show and find out when you’ll be able to pick up a ton of new prints featuring your favorite superheroes? Meet me after the jump, folks.

Last night, the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles premiered their new exhibition “Weapon of Choice” and it was loaded with cool artwork “inspired by prominent characters of fiction, historical reference, or pop culture, and their relationship with their iconic weapon.” Last week, Scott wrote a preview of the exhibition in Limited Paper, but with the show opening, I decided to stop by and take pictures of everything on display and it’s definitely worth checking out. In addition, later today Hero Complex will be “dropping” what’s still available on their website, so if you see something you like you can pick it up. Keep in mind, everything for sale is very limited, so don’t wait too long to purchase. Hit the jump for the pics.

If you’re in the L.A. area and want to see artwork inspired by Freaks and Geeks, Anchorman, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Walk Hard, Funny People, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and more from his great resume, I suggest heading over to the Melrose Gallery before December 30 (it’s open Wednesday – Sunday, 11-6 PM). However, for those that won’t be able to make the show, I took over 80 pictures and shot almost everything on display. Hit the jump for more.

In the last jam-packed installment of Limited Paper, we looked at Gallery1988’s Breaking Bad series, we revealed three new posters from the folks at Mondo, and we shared a handful of exclusive images from Ltd. Art Gallery’s upcoming Press Start show. There was a lot to look at, and today’s column will be no different: after the jump , we’ve got information on Ian Glaubinger’s 6-poster Monsters of Horror series, a head’s up on Spoke Art’s soon-to-be-released Raging Bull prints, and—last but not least—we reveal who won a trio of free posters in our exclusive Star Wars/Gangsta contest. Meet me after the jump for all this (and more), my fellow Limited Paper enthusiasts.
