I’m surprised Marvel hasn’t released an online app where you can mash-up your own Iron Man 3 poster. The latest official posters for the film have been photoshopping previous posters together, and a new international poster keeps that trend going. The new international poster brings together the final poster with the character posters for Iron Patriot (Don Cheadle), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce). The result looks like Pepper looking down on tiny Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and saying, “Don’t worry. I have your helmet.”

A new trailer and poster have been released for Joseph Kosinski‘s sci-fi action film, Oblivion. The story takes place on a dystopian Earth, and stars Tom Cruise as a drone repairman who holds the future of mankind in his hands after discovering a crashed spaceship. The first trailer didn’t do much for me, but this new trailer does a much better job of laying out the plot, the conflict, and the larger world. Now I’m intrigued, and I hope that Kosinski can deliver on the premise.
Hit the jump to check out the new trailer as well as Spanish poster. The film also stars Olga Kurylenko, Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, and Melissa Leo. Oblivion opens April 19th.

With the 3D re-release of Monsters, Inc. on the way, Disney is making sure to tie in the marketing for the upcoming prequel, Monsters University, and have released a couple of posters. The film goes back to Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan’s (John Goodman) college days and shows how the two overcame their differences and became BFFs. These posters show both sides of the friendship, and how it’s probably best to not give the bigger guy the top bunk.
Hit the jump to check out the posters. The film also features the voices of Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray, and Peter Sohn. Monsters, Inc. 3D opens December 19th. Monsters University opens in 3D on June 21, 2013.

An international poster for Wes Anderson‘s new comedy Moonrise Kingdom has gone online. The story centers on a young boy and girl who decide to run away together into the wilderness, and the madness of the community’s search for the pair. While I prefer the first poster for the movie, this one has a nice touch by making it clear that the background is a painted backdrop.
Hit the jump to check out the poster and click here for new images from the movie. The film stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Jared Gilman, and Kara Hayward. Moonrise Kingdom will open the Cannes Film Festival, and open in limited release on May 25th.

There had been some concern that Piranha 3DD, the sequel to the surprise hit Piranha 3D, wouldn’t be coming to theaters. Last month, director John Gulager said there was no need for concern, and that 3D boobs and angry fish were headed our way this year. Now, two international posters have gone online and they don’t look too bad. I would think that including “Double the D’s” in the tagline would mean focusing more on the breasts than the piranhas, but the posters are the other way around. I guess market research shows that fish are a better selling point than boobs. Market research is never wrong.
Hit the jump to check out the posters. The film stars Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, Meagan Tandy, Katrina Bowden, David Hasselhoff, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer, and Gary Busey. There is currently no release date for Piranha 3DD.

The international poster for Captain America: The First Avenger has gone online. It’s not a bad poster. You’ve got the shield, you’ve got the Howling Commandos, and you’ve got a giant Red Skull in the background and if the characters in the foreground simply turned around, they’d have a real shot at winning the war.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. Captain America: The First Avenger opens July 22nd.

A new international poster for director Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens has landed online and it suggests that UFOs run super quietly. The UK one sheet features stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde staring off at an unspecified diversion while an alien craft hovers overhead. In addition to Craig, Ford, and Wilde, Cowboys & Aliens also stars Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine, and Walton Goggins. Check out the new poster after the jump. Cowboys & Aliens hits theaters on July 29th.

Sony has pulled the bootleg red-band trailer for David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and replaced it with a family-friendly green-band trailer for the “Free Bad Movie of Christmas”. Now two international posters for the film have gone online and they’re NSFW unless your workplace is totally cool with pictures of Rooney Mara’s pierced nipples. The posters are basically the same and share the tagline Evil Shall with Evil Be Expelled (I think it’s supposed to be “Evil Shall Be Expelled with Evil”, but it doesn’t read that way since western languages typically read left to right, top to bottom).
Hit the jump for the international posters. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo opens December 21st. [Update: We have added a higher-res version of the UK quad along with the US poster, which is exactly like the French poster except the tagline is in English.]

It’s Memorial Day, which means it’s likely to be a slow news day, and so that’s why the international poster for Shawn Levy’s Real Steel is getting its own article. It’s a big improvement over the domestic teaser poster, which showcased the robot Camelfist Magee (probably not the robot’s real name, but it should be). For those unfamiliar with the movie, it’s about a former boxer (Hugh Jackman) who becomes a promoter for the hot new sport: robot boxing (I have trouble believing this would bypass Foxy Boxing, but whatever). The former boxer reunites with his estranged son (Dakota Goyo) and together they build a new robot and try to take him to the championship. Emotional uplift possibly ensues.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. The film also stars Anthony Mackie, Hope Davis, Kevin Durand, and Evangeline Lilly. Real Steel opens October 7th.

The French poster for Kenneth Branagh’s Thor has gone online. Unlike the American teaser poster, this one actually features more than one color. However, it looks like Thor inhabits the same black-and-blue cloud-space as the Iron Man 2 posters from last year.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Thom Hiddleston, and Anthony Hopkins. It opens in France on April 27th and in the U.S. on May 6th.

One of the most anticipated movies of the new year, The Green Hornet is set to kick off 2011 with a blend of adventure and director Michel Gondry’s habitual touch of eccentricity, if the various artworks are anything to go by.
Remember when Collider gave you an exclusive sneak peek of The Green Hornet’s character posters back in November? They have now officially debuted on Korean billboards, while the Spanish and French posters resemble the US ones. Hit the jump to take a look.

Universal has released an international teaser poster for Jon Favreau’s upcoming sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens. Like the domestic poster, it appears that showing Daniel Craig’s handsome visage would send audiences running in terror rather than standing around and ridiculing the title. But for the most part, it’s like the US poster except a different angle and color scheme. Ultimately, you’re drawn to the juxtaposition of Craig’s western-attire and his super-fancy alien bracelet.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. Cowboys & Aliens also stars Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Paul Dano, and Sam Rockwell. It opens July 29, 2011.

Excitement surrounding the Coen Brothers’ latest film, True Grit, is building up a head of steam and we’ve now got four new character banners and the international poster. The new posters feature Josh Brolin, Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges looking badass, armed and dangerous, and newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, looking not-so-dangerous. For those not yet up to date, the movie sees Bridges as a hardened US Marshal helping a young girl (Steinfeld) track down her father’s killer (Brolin).

Five international posters for Joseph Kosinski’s TRON: Legacy have gone online. The film’s release date is still over seven weeks away, but the marketing is showing no signs of slowing down. In the past couple weeks alone we’ve had “TRON Night”, a new clip, a Daft Punk music video and poster, a new domestic poster, and a look at the loads of movie-related merchandise. These five new posters won’t blow your mind, but it’s a small reminder that Disney is trying to turn the upcoming film into a worldwide phenomenon (in case you need reminding).
Hit the jump to check out the posters. The film stars Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen, Beau Garrett, Bruce Boxleitner, and Jeff Bridges. TRON: Legacy opens in 3D on December 17th.

Earlier this week, we brought you a badass international poster for TRON: Legacy. Now we have another international poster and it too is badass. Not quite as badass because let’s face it: you can’t really beat Jeff Bridges in a trench-coat wielding a light-disc. However, light-cycles smashing up against each other aren’t bad either.
Hit the jump to check out the poster. TRON: Legacy opens on December 17th.
