Mondo Posters for FOUR LIONS, STAR TREK and STAR WARS
by Matt Goldberg Posted 2 years, 241 days ago

We have three awesome new posters to show you today from Mondo, the boutique shop of the famous Alamo Drafthouse. First up is Olly Moss and Jon Contino’s fantastic commemorative poster for Chris Morris’ terrorist comedy Four Lions, which is the first film to be distributed under the Drafthouse’s new distribution arm, Drafthouse Films. The design of the poster was inspired by England’s soccer flag (the film is set in Sheffield, England). Four Lions opens in limited release on November 5th.
There’s also the latest posters in Mondo’s ongoing Star Trek and Star Wars series. Both posters were done by artist Tom Whalen. The Trek poster pays tribute to the episode “Journey to Babel” while the Star Wars poster is the first in the Mondo series to show some love to Mr. Jabba the Hutt. The posters go on sale tomorrow at an unspecified time (follow @MondoNews on Twitter for the announcement of when they’ll be available). Each print will be limited to an edition of less than 300 and will probably sell out in under ten minutes. Hit the jump to check out all of the posters.
