Last week, Sundance unveiled the exciting lineup for the 2015 Sundance Film Festival piece-by-piece. First we got the U.S. Competition, World Competition, and NEXT films, followed by the Park City at Midnight and Spotlight lineups. Today, the festival has announced the films that will be playing in its Premieres category, and there are a number of highlights. Director Noah Baumbach‘s indie Mistress America, which stars and was co-written by Baumbach’s Frances Ha collaborator Greta Gerwig, is on the docket, as is The Spectacular Now director James Ponsoldt‘s End of the Tour, which stars Jason Segel as author David Foster Wallace. On the Documentary Premieres side of things, we have Alex Gibney‘s sure-to-be-controversial documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief and the authorized doc Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.
