It’s trailer night on Collider!  Following trailers for The Judge, The Wedding Ringer, and The Good Lie, we now have the latest Sex Tape red band trailer for you.  Sony has already released three Sex Tape trailers, but for a raunchy comedy bluntly titled Sex Tape, it can’t hurt to offer more dirty jokes for a red band audience.  Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel play a married couple who film a sex tape to spice up their love life.  Their video is accidentally uploaded to “the cloud,” which sends the couple through a series of hijinks to prevent everyone they know from seeing the video. Ellie Kemper, Rob Corddry, and Rob Lowe co-star in director Jake Kasdan‘s follow-up to Bad Teacher.  Sex Tape opens July 25.  Check out the Sex Tape red band trailer after the jump.

Universal has released a new A Million Ways to Die in the West red-band trailer.  The story revolves around a cowardly farmer (Seth MacFarlane, who also directed and co-wrote the film) who backs out of a gunfight and subsequently loses his girlfriend.  When he later meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who teaches him how to shoot, he gets an opportunity to win his pride back, but must choose between reclaiming an old love or kindling a new one.  The plot thickens when the outlaw returns to claim his woman.  This red-band trailer contains a lot of the jokes from the first red-band trailer, but the new jokes are terrific.  The film remains one of my most-anticipated of the summer.

Hit the jump to check out the red-band trailer.  The film also stars Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman, Giovanni Ribisi, and Neil Patrick HarrisA Million Ways to Die in the West opens on May 30th.

NSFW Trailer for David Cronenberg’s MAPS TO THE STARS Starring Mia Wasikowska, Julianne Moore, John Cusack, and Robert Pattinson

A new Maps to the Stars trailer has gone online, and this one is a French, NSFW version (it’s NSFW because of language and nudity, not because it’s French).  The film follows an archetypical Hollywood dynasty including a writer of self-help manuals, his wife who manages the career of their 13-year-old son, and their daughter, who was recently released from a sanatorium where she was treated for criminal pyromania.  The plot also includes Havana, an actress who wants to remake a movie that starred her now-deceased mother.  Like yesterday’s trailer, I’m still not quite sure what to make of the movie.  There are clearly some darkly comic elements, but there’s also some serious intensity, and it’s sometimes difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins.  I can’t wait to see this flick.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  The film stars John Cusack, Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson, Olivia Williams, and Sarah GadonMaps to the Stars opens in France and Italy on May 21st, and will probably make its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.  A U.S. release date has yet to be announced.

Sony Pictures has released a new 22 Jump Street red-band trailer.  Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller return for the comedic sequel, along with stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, who move from the halls of high school to the college campus this time around.  This trailer put to rest any doubts I had about the sequel.  Comedy sequels are rarely funnier than the first movie, but this looks like it could be as funny as 21 Jump Street, which is saying something because I fucking love that movie.

Hit the jump to check out the red-band trailer.  The film also stars Ice Cube, Nick Offerman, Amber Stevens, Peter Stormare, Rob Riggle, Dave Franco, Jillian Bell, and Craig Roberts.  22 Jump Street opens June 13th.

Two New Red-Band Trailers for NEIGHBORS Starring Seth Rogen, Rose Bryne, and Zac Efron

Universal has released two new red-band trailers for Nicholas Stoller‘s upcoming comedy, Neighbors.  The film stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as a married couple who must deal with a fraternity—headed up by Zac Efron—when it moves in next door.  I’ve heard nothing but good things about the movie (click here to read Perri’s review from SXSW), and Universal clearly has a lot of faith in it.  I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended up being the breakout comedy of the summer.  What’s great about these trailers is that even though they’re red-band, there are jokes that are funny even though they’re not R-rated.

New Red-Band Trailer for SABOTAGE Gets Personal

The recent footage for David Ayer’s Sabotage has certainly shown off the bloody violence prevalent in the R-rated actioner, but this new red-band trailer surprisingly shows us the reason that audiences should become invested in the film’s characters.  This new cut goes beyond the violent action and compelling mystery that are central to the plot in order to show the heart behind Arnold Schwazenegger’s character’s journey.  Though he fronts a DEA task force combating a ruthless drug cartel, the danger sets in on him from both sides as the criminals kidnap his family and his partners start disappearing one by one.

Also starring Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Mireille Enos, Josh Holloway, Olivia WilliamsHarold PerrineauTerrence HowardMax Martini, and Kevin VanceSabotage opens March 28th.  Hit the jump to watch the new red-band trailer.

Red-Band Trailer and Poster for Ti West’s THE SACRAMENT

Magnet has released a red-band trailer and poster for Ti West‘s new horror film, The Sacrament.  The film stars AJ Bowen and Joe Swanberg (both actors from You’re Next) as reporters for VICE Media who go to a remote Central American compound that holds a religious “community” (i.e. cult).  The utopian setting is then revealed as (shocker) not all it appears to be, and judging by the trailer, lots of violence and horror ensues (naturally).  I do like the premise, and I hope West can deliver on it.

Hit the jump to check out the red-band trailer and poster.  The film also stars Amy Seimetz (Upstream Color), Kentucker Audley (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints), and Gene Jones (No Country for Old Men).  The Sacrament is On Demand on May 1st and opens June 6th.

Universal Pictures has released the first red-band trailer for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s latest directorial feature A Million Ways to Die in the West.  It’s also MacFarlane’s live-action acting debut, and judging from this first look, he’s actually a bit more reserved than his animated counterparts.  The dangers of the wild west more than make up for MacFarlane’s toned-down performance as it looks like the film will live up to its title; just about anything and everything in this world can and will kill you in the most hilarious way possible.

Red-Band, For Your Consideration Trailer for BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR Shines a Spotlight on Adele Exarchopoulos

Blue Is the Warmest Color is a terrific film, but due to the Academy’s arcane and idiotic rules, it’s ineligible for Best Foreign Film.  However, it can still be nominated in other categories, and IFC Films has released a red-band trailer pushing for Adele Exarchopoulos to get a Best Actress nomination.  She absolutely deserves wide-spread recognition for her astounding performance as a young woman moving through a romantic and sexual awakening.  I’ve never seen a publicly released For Your Consideration trailer, and the movie hit theaters back in October, but I’m glad IFC is continuing to lobby for the picture and its breakthrough star.  This could also be an attempt to deflect the press-tour tensions that threatened to overshadow the Palm d’Or winner.  Either way, if FYC the campaign succeeds, it could help boost sales of the bare bones Criterion Collection release in February (Criterion promises a “full special edition” will be released a later date).

Red-Band Trailer for Jason Bateman’s BAD WORDS

Focus Features has released the red-band trailer for Jason Bateman‘s directorial debut, Bad Words.  The film stars Bateman as the Guy Trilby, a 40-year-old who exploits a loophole to compete in a national spelling bee competition.  Guy has a larger motive than just winning, but his mean-spirited nature allows him to berate and humiliate kids along the way.  It’s really funny.  When I saw the film at TIFF, I was worried the trailer would give away too many of the jokes, and this red-band trailer does drop a few of the good ones (especially an insult near the end), but it manages to keep most of them a secret by focusing on Guy’s relationship with his competitor Chaitanya (Rohan Chand).

A new red-band trailer for debut feature director Fredrik Bond’s Charlie Countryman is now online.  It’s tough to pin down just what makes this new cut so intoxicating to watch, whether it’s Shia LaBeouf’s drug tripping, Mads Mikkelsen’s terrifying presence or just the sense that this film will be something we haven’t quite seen before.  The plot centers on a young man’s spontaneous journey to Bucharest where he falls tragically in love with a woman claimed by a vicious gangster.

If you missed our interviews from Sundance, click here for the full cast and click here for Bond. The film also stars Evan Rachel Wood, Til Schweiger, Rupert Grint, James Buckley, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Melissa Leo.  Millennium Entertainment will release Charlie Countryman in theaters and On Demand November 15, 2013.  Hit the jump to watch.

Focus Features has released the first red-band trailer for director Tom Gormican’s R-rated comedy That Awkward Moment.  The film stars Zac EfronMichael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller as three best friends who vow to maintain their single status for as long as possible when one of them is devastated by a recent breakup.  The plan gets derailed when they each fall in love and have to secretly work around their pledge to bachelorhood.  Despite the lame title, the pic actually looks to be a really funny take on the romantic comedy genre from a male perspective.  The main trio have excellent chemistry (Teller unsurprisingly steals this red-band trailer), and I’m looking forward to checking out the full film.
