CBS Films has released the first trailer for director Jon Turtletaub’s (National Treasure) upcoming comedy Last Vegas. The film stars Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline as four old friends who decide to throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single (Douglas). This teaser trailer sells the film hard as “The Hangover with old guys,” but despite the forced premise, Last Vegas actually looks like it could be kind of fun. All four of the lead actors are Academy Award winners, and it’s interesting to see someone like Freeman just completely let loose and go full-on comedy.

The first image from the “The Hangover with old guys” comedy Last Vegas has been released on the heels of the official start of production. The story centers on four old friends who decide to throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single. Jon Turtletaub (National Treasure) directs the rather impressive cast that includes Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline, and Morgan Freeman. Filming has now begun in Las Vegas (though this first image is horribly photoshopped) and will continue in Atlanta. The cast will be doing location shooting in Vegas on the strip and at Aria Resort & Casino.

The comedy Think Like A Man, out in theaters on April 20th, is about a group of friends who have their love lives shaken up, after the women they are pursuing buy Steve Harvey’s best-selling book (that the film is inspired by) and start taking his advice to heart. When they realize that they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire to use the book’s teachings to turn the tables. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Romany Malco and Gabrielle Union.
During this recent exclusive phone interview with Collider, actor Romany Malco talked about what drew him to Think Like A Man, how he approached this role, getting to be a part of such an amazing ensemble, how much improv they did versus what was in the script, and working with a director like Tim Story. He also talked about the experience of making A Little Bit of Heaven (out in theaters on May 4th), voicing a character for the FX animated series Unsupervised, his YouTube channel series featuring Tijuana Jackson and his next project, Romany Meets His Friends. Check out what he had to say after the jump:

The film adaptation of Steve Harvey’s best-selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man has new names attached to star alongside Kevin Hart. According to Deadline, Jerry Ferrara, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, and Gabrielle Union are all now signed to the comedy project which sees Hart as a “relationship expert” who dishes out advice on love whilst struggling with his own failing marriage. (Move over Agony Aunts, Uncles are stepping up.) Unlike the long winded book title, the film is named simply, Think Like A Man and, as we reported last month, will be helmed by Fantastic Four director Tim Story and produced by Will Packer (Takers). Friends with Benefits writers Keith Merryman & David A. Newman have penned the script. Hit the jump for the synopsis of the book.

I’ll admit I didn’t know the first thing about writer-director Hue Rhodes “Saint John of Las Vegas” until today, but when you’ve got a cast that includes Steve Buscemi, Sarah Silverman, Romany Malco, Peter Dinklage, Tim Blake Nelson, John Cho and Emmanuelle Chirqui, I take notice. So when I was sent 12 images and the poster for the film which arrives in February of next year, I figured they were worth sharing. So take a look after the jump:
