Back in October we found out that Jeff Bridges would be hosting Saturday Night Live the day after the highly anticipated Tron Legacy hits theaters. Today a press release from NBC confirms his hosting duties on December 18th with musical guests Eminem and Lil Wayne, and they’ve also announced two more hosts in December for three back-to-back episodes.
On December 4th, Robert De Niro will kick things off with musical guest Diddy-Dirty Money (a hip-hop group comprised of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kalenna Harper and Dawn Richard) just in time to plug their debut album Last Train to Paris which drops on December 14th. Then Paul Rudd (appearing just in time to plug the release of How Do You Know on December 17th) returns for only his second time hosting on December 11th with musical guest Paul McCartney. I always love seeing actors like De Niro on SNL, and Paul Rudd is just comedy gold. Those two combined with Jeff Bridges for three more episodes of SNL before the New Year makes for a good close to 2010 and I hope the cast and writers of the sketch series make it worth our while.
