You’re driving down the street, and it’s suddenly blocked off.  You notice these weird yellow signs with nonsensical letters or numbers.  There’s unusual glow lighting up a neighborhood you can’t usually see from your house.  What you might have here is a film company shooting in your town.  It happens a lot, and you never know where they might pop up…until now.

The following is a semi-comprehensive list of films currently shooting, what they’re shooting, and where they’re shooting.  We’ll be telling you where you might get to see the very famous, the kinda famous and (if all goes well) the soon-to-be famous. While we can’t list every single movie, television show, or student film in production, you’ll get a pretty good idea of what the heck is going on where all those people are buzzing about.  Want to know where in the world are Matt Damon, Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Woody Harrelson, and Leonardo DiCaprio? First Poster and Tons of New Images from Sarah Polley’s TAKE THIS WALTZ Starring Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams and Sarah Silverman

by     Posted 3 years, 353 days ago

New info from AFM, this one regarding Sarah Polley’s next directorial effort Take This Waltz, a comedy starring Seth Rogan, Michelle Williams and Sarah Silverman. Previously the only information we knew about Polley’s film was that it was a “bittersweet comedy” about a woman dealing with “two different types of love”. This new information, including a detailed plot synopsis, director’s notes, pics (some of which we posted previously) and cast info, sheds more light on the film, which is shaping to be a comedy more in the vein of James L. Brooks (As Good As It Gets) and Judd Apatow (Funny People).

This is Polley’s third full-length directorial effort after 2006’s Away From Her and 2002’s All I Want for Christmas. The actress has also starred in high-profile flicks such as last summer’s Splice and Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead. Of interest are her comments regarding her new film, which hint at something truly unique and creative. No release date has been set, though production started in July.
