It’s tough making one cool superhero poster.  But making ten of them, each one is as cool as the last, that’s almost impossible.  But that’s what Marko Manev has managed to do with his new black and white superhero noir posters featuring Batman, Hulk, Captain America, Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, Thor, Iron Man, Superman, Dr. Manhattan, and Wolverine.  As you’ll see after the jump, every poster captures an iconic scene for the superhero featured.  And while all of them are extremely well done, I think the Silver Surfer is my favorite.   Let me know which is your favorite in the comment section.

Concept Art From Marvels Marvel Super Heroes Theme Park (2).jpg

Before the credit crisis and the deal with Disney, United Arab Emirate-based Al Ahli Group and Marvel Entertainment announced a deal to bring many of Marvel’s biggest characters to Dubai for a brand new theme park that would focus on the world famous characters.  The plan was for character themed rides based on The Fantastic Four, Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men, Silver Surfer, and Spider-Man.  While I have no idea if the deal with Disney has changed the deal, or if Dubai’s financial troubles will derail the park, I do know what it might look like!  That’s because concept art has hit the net and you can check out some great looking images after the jump.  With rides like “Flying with Spidey”, “Fantasticar” and “X-Men: Danger Room”, Marvel fanboys might be flying across the world to check this place out!

At this weekend’s press junket for Ninja Assassin, I participated in a roundtable interview with screenwriters J. Michael Straczynski  and Matthew Sand.  While some screenwriters are lucky to have one project in developement, these two have tons.  In fact, the list of projects they’re working on or have been on is rather impressive.  Here’s some of them: Brothers in Arms, Red Star, Forbidden Planet, Lensmen, Silver Surfer, WWZ, and Shattered Union.

While we didn’t get to spend a lot of time on any one project, what we did get was updates on all of them.  So if you’re curious what’s up with any of these movies, hit the jump to read what they had to say.

In the wake of Disney’s purchase of Marvel this morning, Fox is hurrying to reboot a Marvel property is still owns: “Fantastic Four”. The franchise is one of four Fox owns in perpetuity, irrespective of Disney’s $4 billion deal, including “X-Men,” “Daredevil,” and “Silver Surfer.” Thought details are scant on the new project, a few names have been dropped. Those, and why this could be a good thing after the jump.
