We’ve just about made it to Mondo’s Universal Monsters gallery show—their biggest show ever, opening this Friday and playing home to nearly 20 posters and 50-plus originals (according to Mondo’s creative director, Justin Ishmael, at tonight’s 3D screening of Creature From The Black Lagoon)—but that doesn’t mean all of Mondo’s other business has been put on hold.  In fact, they’re going to be dropping the remaining prints from their recent New York Comic-Con appearance tomorrow morning.  Wanna know what’s going on sale, what it’ll cost you, and what it looks like?  Meet me after the jump, folks.

If you’re a Mondo fan and headed to New York Comic-Con this weekend, I strongly advise you to get to the con when it opens Friday morning at 9:30am.  That’s because even though most assumed Mondo would release their prints like they did in San Diego (one at a time), I’ve learned that when the doors open, everything is for sale!

But it gets better.

Late tonight, as the convention was closing, I was able to take pictures of everything at the Mondo booth!  If you’ve been wondering what would be sold at NYCC, Mondo has prints for Shaun of the Dead, Lord of the Rings, The Iron Giant, Phantasm, City of the Living Dead, Kill Bill, The Foghorn Leghorn, and Friday the 13th Part III 3D!  In addition, a number of these prints have variants.  Hit the jump for a ton of images and artists info.

In case your wallets weren’t empty enough after Mondo’s slew of great Avengers posters, Alamo’s boutique art store now has some more amazing posters headed our way.  First up, they will be selling a gorgeous new poster for The Iron Giant by Laurent Durieux at an upcoming screening, and hopefully they’ll have some left over to sell online. I’m still a little partial to Kevin Tong‘s poster for the movie, but just barely.

Mondo has also released images of their posters for 13 Assassins by Vania Zouravliov, The Mole People by Phantom City Creative, and The Hills Have Eyes by Jeff Proctor.  These posters (not including Iron Giant) will go on sale tomorrow at a random time, so be sure you’re following @MondoNews for the announcement.  Hit the jump to check out the posters along with size, pricing, and edition info.

This week, the Regent Showcase hosted the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Animation Film Festival. The four-day fest boasted 35mm screenings of The Iron Giant, Gulliver’s Travels, Team America, Grave of the Fireflies and A Cat in Paris, amongst many others. Mondo has kicked off a series of screenings where the movie being shown hasn’t been announced.  Folks by a ticket, go to the screening, and then find out what they’re seeing and what awesome poster they, and only they, will be able to purchase.  Past screenings have included Akira and Jurassic Park, but this weekend Mondo pulled out all the stops by doing a six-movie marathon in Los Angeles.  Attendees were treated to screenings and posters for The Iron Giant (by far my favorite of the bunch), 28 Days Later, Hellraiser, Assault on Precinct 13, City of Lost Children, and The Mist.

I’ve included all the posters after the jump.  Be warned: seeing these may make you sad because we’ll never have them.  They won’t be sold on the Mondo store and unless you’re willing to pay a premium to eBay jerk-offs who don’t understand what’s special about these posters, you and I will never own them.
