Warner Bros. Studios is having a very busy week, but not so busy as to forget a little thing called Comic-Con 2011. Warner Bros. Entertainment will once again be teaming up with the con to sponsor the “Comic-Con International: San Diego Official Bag.” The more than 130,000 bags (available to badge-holders upon check in) will feature official Comic-Con art on one side and one of 10 franchises in the WB/DC universe on the other. Featured titles include Batman: Arkham City, ThunderCats and Fringe. Hit the jump to check them out!
To prevent your arms from getting tired from hauling all your swag around, this year the bags will turn you into a walking advertisement double as backpacks! Personally, I’m willing to stab a guy in the eye for a ThunderCats bag. Knowing my luck, I’ll get The Vampire Diaries. If you guys hear about some black market bag trading going on, be sure to let me know.

On Tuesday morning, Collider was invited to a Warner Bros. Animation presentation on the studio lot, as part of the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour that kicked off this week.
Held in the Steven J. Ross Theater and hosted by Peter Roth, President of Warner Bros. Television, and Sam Register, Executive Vice President of Creative Affairs for Warner Bros. Animation, the gathered press were shown highlights from current series Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, as well as sneak peeks of their upcoming programs MAD, Young Justice and The Looney Tunes Show.
Following that, we were then given a screening of two of their three new state-of-the-art CG and 3-D theatrical cartoon shorts, each three minutes in length and featuring the iconic characters of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner. In the films, Wile E. Coyote continues to be left in the dust by his hapless nemesis, Road Runner, always taunting him with his famous “beep-beep.” These cartoons will debut in theaters, attached to upcoming feature film releases from Warner Bros. Pictures. More after the jump:

Walking the convention floor at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, you’ll most likely pick up a lot of swag and make a lot of purchases. And Warner Bros. has the solution for all that you will own from this Con: an over-sized bag. I still have the Watchmen one I picked up at the 2008 convention. It holds almost every other bag I own. If you’re wearing it over your shoulder, the bag stretches down to your ankle.
Warner Bros. has released images of the bags they’ll be giving out this year. There will be 11 different bags this year and they’ll be handing them out individually rather than being stampeded by individual Con-goers. The only different between them is the movie or TV show that’s being promoted. Hit the jump to see the bags featuring Clash of the Titans DVD/Blu-ray, The Looney Tunes Show, Batman: The Brave and the Bold videogame, Brightest Day, and Smallville/Supernatural. They’ll also be handing out bags promoting The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Human Target, Nikita, The Vampire Diaries, and Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It should be noted that the Smallville/Supernatural bag is smaller, but will only be available at Warner Bros.’ booth (#4545).

In case you haven’t heard, Warner Bros. is launching a new Looney Toons animated series on Cartoon Network along with new 3D shorts that are slated for theaters. According to the press release, Cartoon Network will air The Looney Tunes Show a half-hour animated television featuring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck living together in the suburbs. Also in the neighborhood will be Yosemite Sam, Granny, Tweety and Sylvester. I wouldn’t be surprised if other Looney Tunes characters pop up along the way.
They’re also doing 3D shorts out later this year are three 3-minute 3D CG short films starring Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner. Each film will screen before a major WB family film. Coyote Falls will be attached to Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (July 30th); Fur of Flying will be with Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (September 24th); and Rabid Rider will show in front of Yogi Bear (December 17th).
