
A first look at the Woman in Black sequel Angel of Death has surfaced by way of a promo poster. Steve walked the floor of AFM earlier today and snapped some shots of the posters and images on display, and this eerie one for the horror follow-up seems perfectly timed for Halloween. We know that Angel of Death will pick up forty years after the events of the first film, where Eel Marsh House has been seized by the government during World War II. Naturally, the sudden arrival of a group of evacuated children awakens the house’s darkest inhabitant. This image teases the children’s arrival as well as the return of the titular Woman in Black.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe may be headed towards another appearance following his leading role in The Woman in Black in the follow-up film titled Angels of Death. However, Hammer CEO Simon Oakes has stated that a second film in the series would be more of a continuation rather than a traditional sequel.
Woman in Black author Susan Hill reportedly has an outline for what happened nearly half a century after the events of the first story, which Oakes said they would plan to follow. For more on the project and Radcliffe’s potential role, hit the jump.
