Now playing in theaters is director Ivan Reitman‘s sports drama Draft Day.  The film takes place within the span of one day, the day of the NFL draft.  Kevin Costner plays a general manager who has the opportunity to save football in Cleveland when he trades for the number one pick.  As the day’s events unfold, he finds the lines between his personal and professional life becoming blurred.  Draft Day also stars Jennifer Garner, Denis Leary, Josh Pence, Chadwick Boseman, Sean Combs, Sam Elliott, Terry Crews, Arian Foster, Ellen Burstyn, and Frank Langella.

In filmmaker David Ayer’s Sabotage, elite DEA task force agent John “Breacher” Wharton (Arnold Schwarzenegger) heads a team that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels.  But after the team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house, they mysteriously start to be murdered, one by one, making everyone a suspect, including the team members themselves.  The film also stars Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Mireille Enos, Joe Manganiello, Josh Holloway, Max Martini, Olivia Williams, Harold Perrineau and Martin Donovan.

At the film’s press day, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke to Collider for this exclusive interview about always looking for projects that are unique and different, why he wanted to work with director David Ayer and follow his lead, how impressed he was with his fellow actors, and what he does to make sure that he’s not singled out with any special star treatment.  He also talked about returning to the Terminator franchise and how the script for Terminator: Genesis has the feel of Terminator 2, reprising the role of Conan for The Legend of Conan, and the Twins sequel, Triplets.  Check out our Arnold Schwarzenegger after the jump.

During the film’s press day, Collider was given the opportunity to sit down with the film’s star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is truly reinvented by filmmaker David Ayer for this role, and while we will run what he had to say about Sabotage closer to the film’s March 28th release, we did want to share what he had to say about his upcoming roles, returning to the Terminator franchise, reprising his role as Conan for The Legend of Conan, and the Twins sequel, Triplets.  In regard to Terminator, he said that the script for this Terminator film has the feel of Terminator 2, that they’ll start shooting in April in New Orleans, that he doesn’t yet know if it will be PG-13 or R, but that there will be hardcore action and some great visual effects, and that the title of the film is not yet official.  Check out what he had to say after the jump.

Josh Gad Talks FROZEN, His History with the Project, the Songs, the Status of TRIPLETS, Playing Sam Kinison, and More

Over the past few years, Disney Animation Studios has really impressed me.  I thought both Tangled and Wreck-it-Ralph were huge steps forward for the studio, but nothing could have prepared me for how much I loved Frozen.  Loaded with amazing songs (written and composed by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez), great characters (wait until you meet Olaf), and enough humor to keep both kids and parents interested, I’m planning on taking my entire family to see it over Thanksgiving weekend and think it’s going to a huge hit at the box office. If you’re not familiar with Frozen, the story centers on a young dreamer named Anna (Kristen Bell) who teams up with Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), an extreme mountain man, to find her sister Elsa, the Queen of Arendelle (Idina Menzel) who has accidentally trapped their kingdom in eternal winter.

At the recent New York City press day I landed a great interview with Gad.  He talked about his history with the project, the songs and improvising some of his dialogue, when he realized Frozen might be a special movie, the status of Triplets (which he’s writing) and the Sam Kinison movie.  Hit the jump to watch, and make sure to see Frozen in 3D when it opens November 27th.

While Arnold Schwarzengger’s return to the film world has been a bit rougher than he likely expected, the actor has a couple of projects in the works that are poised to resurrect some of his previous characters.  One such project is a sequel to the 1988 Schwarzenegger/Danny DeVito comedy Twins, aptly named Triplets.  The pic is poised to reunite Schwarzenegger and DeVito onscreen with their long-lost sibling, played by Eddie Murphy.  Last year Josh Gad and Ryan Dixon were tapped to pen the screenplay for the film, but news on the project in the subsequent months has been quiet.  However, while promoting his latest film Frozen, Gad recently provided a promising update on the project and discussed the tone of the script in relation to the original movie.  Hit the jump to read on.

It looks as if that Twins sequel is moving forward.  Deadline reports that The Book of Mormon star Josh Gad and Ryan Dixon have been tapped to pen the treatment for Triplets, with Dixon handling the script.  The follow-up has Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito reprising their roles from the 1988 comedy as mismatched siblings.  As previously reported, the follow-up will find them getting in touch with a third brother played by Eddie Murphy.  Hit the jump to see what Schwarzenegger told us about the sequel when we spoke to him on the set of the upcoming actioner The Last Stand.

Just in time for the presidential election, the hit romantic comedy Dave, from director Ivan Reitman and screenwriter Gary Ross, debuts on Blu-ray on September 25th, for the first time since its 1993 theatrical release.  The film tells the story about what happens when the U.S. President goes into a coma and a mild-mannered office manager, named Dave Kovic (Kevin Kline), with an uncanny resemblance is hired to impersonate him and fool not only an entire country, but also an increasingly suspicious First Lady (Sigourney Weaver).

At a press day for the Blu-ray release, director Ivan Reitman and producer Lauren Shuler Donner talked about how Gary Ross came to write the film, how the script was developed, what made Kevin Kline the right actor to pull off the dual role, why Sigourney Weaver was the perfect First Lady, and how they think young audiences will react to the film today.  Reitman also talked about the huge interest in sequels these days, the status of another Ghostbusters film and the Twins sequel, Triplets, and how he thinks audiences will be knocked out by the story they’re telling in Hitchcock (due out November 23rd and starring Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren), which he’s producing, and Shuler Donner talked about the importance of focusing on character when you’re making superhero movies, like she’s done with the X-Men films.  Check out what they had to say after the jump.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he was ready to get back into the movie business following his tenure as Governator of California, no one was really expecting him to dive headfirst back into Hollywood.  Cut to 2012 and the actor has already shot a substantial role in The Expendables 2, just wrapped his “comeback” starring role in The Last Stand, and is poised to team up with Sylvester Stallone for the actioner The Tomb.  Oh yeah, and a Twins sequel.  Just last week we learned that Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are planning to reprise their roles from the 1988 comedy Twins in a sequel called Triplets with Eddie Murphy playing their long-lost sibling.

We got the chance to speak with Schwarzenegger in a recent group interview and the actor talked about the idea behind Triplets, how his personal life has affected the likelihood of a sequel to True Lies, and he also had some choice words for the most recent entry in the Terminator franchise.  Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

One of these things is not like the other. Actually, none of these things are like any of the other…and that’s what made the premise of Ivan Reitman’s 1988 film Twins work. But how do you further capitalize on the hilarious assumption that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are twin brothers? Add in Eddie Murphy as a long-lost sibling and call it Triplets. DeVito talked about the possibility of a sequel in an recent interview with Steve. Currently, there is no director attached, but Reitman will produce the project via his Montecito Picture Co. The sequel is in the process of recruiting writers as no substantial creative talks have occurred yet. Hit the jump for more on Triplets.
