A new UK quad poster has been released for Edgar Wright‘s upcoming film, The World’s End.  The story centers on five childhood friends (played by Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, and Martin Freeman) going through an epic pub crawl in order to reach the fabled pub, “The World’s End”.  But as they make their way to the pub, they discover that the fate of humankind is on the line.  The poster gives us the first look at the movie’s apocalyptic menace, and the glowing blue-eyes have me intrigued.  Are they aliens?  Robots?  Alien robots?  Because if it’s alien robots, that’s an unbeatable double-threat.  Everyone on Earth is going to die horribly.

Hit the jump to check out the poster.  The World’s End also stars Rosamund Pike and opens in the U.K. on July 19th and in the U.S. on August 23rd.

A new U.K. poster for Skyfall has gone online.  It’s nothing particularly memorable, but it meets the bare requirements for a James Bond poster: James Bond (Daniel Craig) in a suit and holding a gun.  I would have preferred to see something a little more stylish, but Bond basically sells itself, especially after a four-year absence.

Hit the jump to check out the poster.  The film also stars Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Berenice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, and Ralph FiennesSkyfall opens in the U.K. on October 26th, and opens in the U.S. on November 9th.

New posters have gone online for American Reunion, Carnage, In Time, and Drive.  I love the one for American Reunion because the tagline hints it will be the last one.  There’s also the French poster for Carnage which does a solid job of showing that the film is a comedy first and a drama second (I know it’s tough to wrap your mind around a Roman Polanski comedy, but try).  There’s an awkward embrace between stars Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried in the UK In Time poster.  Finally, there are two more posters for Drive.  They both just re-appropriate still images from the movie, but I got no complaints.  I can’t wait to see the movie again.

Hit the jump to check out the posters.  American Reunion opens April 6, 2012.  Carnage opens this December.  In Time opens October 28th.  Drive opens September 16th.

UK Poster for LIMITLESS

As most folks take the day off to celebrate our nation’s Presidents (because I’m sure that’s how people are spending their free time: celebrating US Presidents), it’s a bit of a slow news day.  With that in mind, we bring you the UK poster for Limitless.  Even on a slow news day, I would usually skip over this, but the poster makes Bradley Cooper look so creepy that I had to share it with you.  It’s like the folks who designed this poster said, “We can’t find an image of Bradley Cooper and photoshop is broken.  I know!  There’s a new Bradley Cooper wax statue at the local wax figure museum!  Let’s go borrow it!  Chip-chip!  Cheeri-o!” (It’s a British poster and I’m 99% certain that’s how all British people end their conversations and this poster could have only been made by Brits because — 0h, no — I’ve run out of crappy-logic juice).

Hit the jump to check out the poster.  Limitless also stars Abbie Cornish, Anna Friel, and Robert De Niro.  It opens in the US on March 18th and the in UK on March 23rd.
