We previously brought you release dates from Disney’s slate of 2013 films and today we have Lionsgate’s line-up. The next year will include a new installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise with Texas Chainsaw 3D, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to action in a leading role with The Last Stand, three films involving Tyler Perry and, of course, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. We learned the release dates for one Billy Crystal/Bette Midler movie and three Tyler Perry movies tonight.  So something for everyone!

• Fox moved the Crystal/Midler comedy Parental Guidance from Thanksgiving to Christmas Day 2012.
• Perry will reprise his role as Madea in Madea’s Witness Protection on June 29.
• We the Peeples, which Perry is merely “presenting”, is moving from March 29, 2013 to May 10, 2013.
• The Marriage Counselor brings Perry back to write and direct, taking the old Peeples slot on March 29, 2013.

A lot of movement on the release date calendar over the past week:

• CBS Films pushed Salmon Fishing in the Yemen back one week from March 2 to March 9, 2012.
• Open Road set Outrun for release on August 24, 2012.
• Relativity rescheduled Safe Haven from June 1, 2012 to Valentine’s Day 2013.
• Lionsgate scheduled two Tyler Perry productions: The Marriage Counselor opens on July 27, 2012; We the Peeples follows on March 29, 2013.
