A deleted scene has been released from Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph. In my review, I expressed my disappointment that Ralph didn’t go to more gaming worlds. This scene hints at a game called Extreme EZ Livin’ 2, but it doesn’t actually go there. In the scene, a Matthew McConaughey-esque character tries to persuade Ralph to break out of prison and take the both of them to the gaming paradise, but director Rich Moore says it would have added an extra half-hour to the movie, and done so late in the picture. That also wouldn’t have solved my problem, which was spending too much time in Sugar Rush. Still, Moore hasn’t given up on EZ Livin (which he sees as “The Sims meets Grand Theft Auto“), and might bring it back for the sequel.
Hit the jump to check out the scene, and hear what else Moore would like to see in Wreck-It Ralph 2. Wreck-It Ralph hits 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 5th.
