Well, these figures are certainly deserving of the attention.
NECA is on a role, folks. Both this first Gears assortment along with the TMNT's figures represent a new era for NECA in terms of sculpting, articulation, and overall quality.
NECA has been something of a whipping horse for me in the past, primarily because of the fragile nature and somewhat useless articulation they'd imbued in past figures. But I can find no fault in either the TMNT line (pictures here), or the Gears of Wars series 1.
These figures should be hitting your local comic shop or on-line retailer (such as cornerstorecomics.com and amoktime.com) any day now, and I think it’s safe to say NECA has a monster hit on their hands.
