A batch of new images from the “Liam Neeson kicks more ass” action sequel Taken 2 has gone online. In the follow-up, Neeson’s character unwisely takes his family on a European vacation, only to find himself and his wife (Famke Janssen) taken hostage by the family members of the random henchmen that Neeson brutally murdered in the first film. These new images unsurprisingly show Neeson being a badass, and we also get a few shots of Janssen and Maggie Grace running around. At least everyone’s getting some healthy cardio in whilst fleeing from scary guys with guns.

Here’s the official synopsis for Taken 2:
Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

Gotta love that 8th image – Liam’s going to torture that parakeet until it coughs up his wife’s location.
Thus setting up the parakeet’s family seeking revenge in the third movie, a la “The Birds.”
The only thing I didn’t enjoy about the first film is – push come to shove (see what I did there? No? Thought not) – Neeson’s hair dye. Thank god he has gone natural this time ’round.

I am amazed with the movies taken and taken 2 he shows that hes a good father and husband he is and how he really loves his family i hope there will be another taken 3, 4, alot more and another reason why i love this movies because the actors are the same
