As a connoisseur of comedy, I love learning about the craft and process of stand-up comedians and the brilliant work they do on stage. So you can imagine my excitement about the forthcoming comedy special Talking Funny, a casual conversation about comedy and life as a comedian from some of today’s greatest funnymen. Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and Louis C.K. all sit down to shoot the shit, share anecdotes, talk about adding new material to their acts and more. I’m really excited to see this. Louis CK and Ricky Gervais are my two favorite comedians right now. Chris Rock is a genius stand-up, so I’m sure he’ll have plenty to add (especially alongside Louie who he worked with several times before).
As for Jerry, despite being one of my heroes, I’m not sure he fits in with this crowd. Still, I would like to see him start throwing some swear words around, I think I’ve heard him swear, on air, maybe once in 20 years.
