The first teaser trailer for the stoner comedy High School has been released. With it being 4/20, I think they picked the right day. Premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the movie is about two former best friends that decide to get everyone in their High School stoned so no one can pass the mandatory drug test. Starring Michael Chiklis, Adrien Brody, Colin Hanks, Matt Bush and Sean Marquette, the film got decent reviews at the Festival and I’ve heard it’ll be getting released this fall on 1500 screens. Until then…check out the teaser after the jump. The voice you’ll hear is Adrien Brody as Psycho Ed.
Here’s the official synopsis:
It’s the end of the school year, and smarmy Principal Gordon (Michael Chiklis) has suddenly instituted a zero-tolerance crusade against his nemesis, the reviled marijuana. A mandatory drug test for all students is to be administered, failure of which will result in immediate expulsion. With his college scholarship hanging in the balance, valedictorian Henry Burke teams up a charismatic pothead to do the only thing they can think of to neutralize this threat – get the entire student body stoned.

awesome
I was just impressed they began the trailer with the intro to “2112.” Beyond that, Brody looks really out-there, though I guess that makes sense since he's called Psycho Ed. Sounding a little like Rorschach helped, too.
If I may rip off the Up in Smoke Tagline….DON'T go straight to see this movie
awesome that this was released on 4/20
