Paramount has released the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles posters.  The look of the turtles is somewhat controversial, but fans will need no introductions when it comes to these teasers.  When it comes to the colors and weapons, Raphael will still sport red and wield sais; Michelangelo has the orange mask and uses nunchucks; Donatello wears the purple mask and has a staff; and Leonardo is in the blue mask and prefers swords.  And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how you keep the turtles separate.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
