In an exclusive clip from “Perverse Instantiation — Part One,” the first segment of The 100’s season finale, Clarke and Bellamy return to Arkadia with — surprise, Raven! — not Luna, but Roan (Zachary McGowan), King of the Ice Nation. Despite meeting Roan’s arrival with skepticism, Clarke assures the group that this is their only way into Polis, and their only chance at stopping ALIE. (Despite all of the tension here, it’s nice to briefly get a little Jasper and Monty reunion moment as well!)
ALIE has proven to be an insurmountable villain so far on The 100 (Carla Day recently wrote about why she’s the actual worst), but there is so much happening leading up to the finale with Clarke, Bellany, Pike, Luna, Jaha, Murphy … ALIE is just one of the major threads that’s fueling the drama in this race to the final hours. Where things go from here is anyone’s guess, and it’s a huge reason we love the show.
