Marvel has released a new banner for The Avengers.  The banner is really just a collection of four character posters, so it will probably be split up at some point.  It's neat to see Mark Ruffalo starting to go a little Hulk, but I'm not sure why Captain America's new helmet is so shiny.  However, I do like that he can throw his shield and check for B.O. at the same time.  Every superhero needs to be able to multitask.

Hit the jump to check out the larger version of the banner.  The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Cobie SmuldersThe Avengers opens in 3D on May 4, 2012. [Update: We've added another banner showcasing Nick Fury (Jackson), Loki (Hiddleston), Hawkeye (Renner), and Black Widow (Johansson)]
