The first trailer for director Jay Chandrasekhar’s (Super Troopers, Beerfest) comedy The Babymakers has arrived in the form of an extended NSFW look at the film. The movie centers on a young married couple who is having trouble conceiving a child. They decide the only way to have kids is to break into a sperm bank in order to retrieve the specimen the husband donated as a young man. Paul Schneider (Lars and the Real Girl) stars as the husband and Olivia Munn plays his wife. While I quite enjoyed Chandrasekhar’s previous Broken Lizard entries, this trailer is painfully unfunny. They’re basically making the same dick jokes for over three minutes and I couldn’t even crack a smile.

Written by Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow (Ice Age: The Meltdown), the film also features quite a few Broken Lizard regulars despite not being an official “Broken Lizard film”, with Paul Soter, Kevin Heffernan, Erik Stolhanske, Steve Lemme, and Chandrasekhar himself all appearing.

Broken Lizard could do no wrong up until ‘Slammin’ Salmon’. That flick was hard to watch. And I give them a big pass for previous work. Not only was it a swing and a miss, they shit their pants in the batters box before heading back to the bench.
And… didn’t the guy who played Landfill in ‘Beerfest’ direct Salmon?
Hopefully this one is worth a Redbox run.

Slammin Salmon wasn’t as god awful as Beerfest and Club Dread. It atleast had “some” funny jokes, but for the most part their movies are a big miss.Anything with Olivia Munn is gonna be a big miss, because she seriously can’t act.
Olivia Munn Sucks.
Olivia Munn may not be able to act, but she’s hot as Hell and that’s why she’s in the movie. Same reason Megan Fox was in Transformers, because a pretty face and body will draw in enough of a male audience.
I enjoyed Beerfest,but they haven’t made a movie quite on par with Super Troopers yet….this one looks to continue the trend.
