The Boys, Amazon’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel, looks to make a bold statement to stand out from the saturated superhero landscape. How does one do that? Well, by showing the depraved and ridiculous things that superheroes would get up to if they actually existed in this world of ours. I never thought I’d see some of the things you’re about to see in this new NSFW trailer, but here we are.

Eric Kripke (Supernatural) is the executive producer and writer of The Boys series with Dan Trachtenberg directing the pilot. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are also on board as executive producers. The show stars Karl Urban, Karen Fukuhara, Laz Alonso, Tomer Kapon, Anthony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jesse T. Usher, Chance Crawford, Simon Pegg and Jack Quaid. The series premieres on Amazon Prime July 26th.
