Director James Wan has been teasing horror fans with behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at The Conjuring 2, but tomorrow we’ll be getting the first footage. Wan announced on Twitter the arrival of the trailer — which is dropping tomorrow, by the way — along with a brief (very brief) snippet of footage.

The Conjuring 2 trailer announcement mostly reminds us of the success of the first one. With a production budget of $20 million, the film easily surpassed that over its opening weekend. Here’s hoping the sequel will serve this sub-franchise better than the spin-off, Annabelle. But first, the end of the video shows a scene of a cross spinning on its own. Yup, looks about right for the Conjuring sequel.

Watch the video below.

Meanwhile on Facebook, a longer version of the teaser for the teaser trailer offers a tour of the new house in question. Accompanied by a chilling breeze, sinister shadows, and two sleeping children who won’t be sleeping for much longer is that freaky music box. You know the one.

Alright folks, you've been bugging me for this, time to conjure up the frightening next case of @theconjuringmovie's Ed and Lorraine Warren!! #TheConjuring2 teaser trailer drops tomorrow! Meanwhile, here's an appetizer. A teaser for the teaser, if you will :) Posted by James Wan on Wednesday, January 6, 2016

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return for The Conjuring 2 as Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film takes its source material from a true-to-life case file that involved a single mother and her children living in an Enfield borough in London during the ‘70s. Two of the daughters were said to have heard knocking sounds in the walls and demonic voices, and seen objects (presumably a cross) and furniture moving on their own. Then there’s of course the whole body levitation situation they needed addressed.

Warner Bros. released the first official look at The Conjuring 2 last week, revealing the young Madison Wolfe as Janet, one of the mother’s haunted daughters gazing up in terror as a phantasm presumably caused the chaos in the room behind her. The cast also features Frances O’Connor (The Hunter) and Simon McBurney (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation). Wan brought production to London, from where he released photos of some of the cast in character and the spooky sets, including the new haunted house.

The Conjuring 2, which was penned by Chad and Carey Hayes, drops into theaters on June 10th.
