Three new clips from director Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated drama The Counselor have landed online ahead of a new trailer debut tomorrow. The script by Cormac McCarthy (author of The Road and No Country for Old Men) centers on an attorney (Michael Fassbender) who teams with Reiner (Javier Bardem) to sell $20 million worth of cocaine. In the first two clips, we see Fassbender’s counselor character receiving advice from two separate sources, Bardem’s Reiner and Brad Pitt’s “cowboy chic” character. The third clip involves Fassbender and Penelope Cruz. Everything we’ve seen thus far has been excellent, and I look forward to seeing what tomorrow’s new trailer brings to the table.
