I can’t help but think that having Flash use Arrow as a lead in on Wednesday is the better option.

I thought that too, but after thinking about it, I think it makes sense this way. You already have an audience with Arrow watchers who will probably follow The Flash. CW tries to continue to build up an audience for The 100 by letting Arrow lead it in. And you hope the Supernatural crowd tunes in first for the Flash and thus, can then tune in for Arrow on Wed. I think if you kept Arrow and Flash back to back, the viewers would stay a constant number, where this allows them to possibly grow a little. Not to mention a new show on the CW, going against Modern Family on Wed is dangerous, since they draw similar, younger crowds.

However, if Flash falters, watch for CW to move it to Wednesdays right away to try and jump start it.

They are pitting The Flash against Agents of S.U.C.K. and NCIS … and later on in the season Glee … I don’t know how wise that is but The Originals survived that time slot so one can hope.

When you make “snarky” comments about AoS, make sure you have all the correct info or else you look like an idiot.

PS: AoS moved to 9pm. The more you know…

I did base the comment on the present Tuesday networks line ups. So “Agents Of Really Bad Writing But Has Gotten Better Lately” has moved to 9pm … doesn’t make it any less of a dangerous timeslot to launch a new show in. In fact with “Agent Of Hey We Are A Super Hero Show With No Super Heroes” shaky ratings it doesn’t really effect anything I said at all. CBS owns Tuesday night.
And just for future reference: my comments here are never thoroughly thought out. They are just off the top of my head passing comments as I drive by the site. They are not worthy of nerd over analysis.
