7 High Resolution Images from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Yesterday we brought you six new images from everyone’s most anticipated movie of the summer, The Dark Knight Rises, and we recently shared what Christopher Nolan and Tom Hardy had to say about the movie and Bane’s pesky voice. But today we’ve got seven images from the film in glorious high resolution.  We’ve seen a couple of these before, but this batch is super duper high quality so you can see that big ol’ Bane up close and personal.  We also get a couple nice images of Batman being all lonely and dark.

Hit the jump to check out the images.  The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine. The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie en Rose”), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”) reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

  1. Sorry, guys. Seen them already. Hi res is cool and all, but I was hoping for new stuff.

  2. Its pretty cool that they’ve released so many detailed and closeup shots of Banes mask and outfit. There’s going to be some great cosplay Banes at all the upcoming cons this summer.

  3. Looking at that first picture, apparently what Bane was really saying was “When Gotham is ashes, you’ll have my permission to dance”. They really need to clean up his voice…

  4. just got done watching the preview again and when you see bruce walk up to a table with the golden tray in the middle you can bruce walking with a cane in the reflection. So Bane does indeed break batmans back for sure at some point. I think I am the first person in America to notice this, so Chis Nolan owe me a million dollars.
