Yep, yet another TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises has gone online (this makes #9 I believe).  This latest spot actually features a lot of really cool bits, including a nice shot of the Batpod, some great quick shots of a fighting Bane & Bats, explosions, snow, and of course Mr. Hines Ward oblivious to an exploding football field.  The spot also directly targets die-hard Batfans with the moniker “On July 20th The Wait Is Over."Hit the jump to watch the TV spot.  The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.  The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th.And if you missed it, WB is offering fans the ability to create their own Dark Knight Rises TV spot and Nolan will pick the winner.  They might even air it on TV.  Click here for more details. dark-knight-rises-bane-teaser-posterHere’s the synopsis for The Dark Knight Rises, followed by links to our recent coverage:

Warner Bros. Pictures’and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie en Rose”), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”) reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer.
