Even though Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has only been shooting for a short time, we may get our first teaser for the film as early as next week. Superhero Hype reports that the first teaser trailer for the Bat-film will be attached to 2D, 3D and IMAX prints of Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 next week. The report states that the teaser is 93 seconds long, and we’ll also get our first look at the poster for the film next week as well.
The report also states that the first trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows will also be attached to the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise. So it sure sounds like we’ll be getting our money’s worth. I wouldn’t expect a great amount of footage—if any at all—in the Dark Knight Rises teaser. The teasers for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were fantastic, with the latter simply playing audio over the Bat symbol. Talk about teasing. It would be awesome if the teaser was similar to TDK…
probably something with voiceover of Bale and Caine. Then finish of with a brief shot of Bane follow by the bat symbol with zimmer’s awesome score.

Even if there isn’t a teaser attached to Harry Potter I’m confident there will be one at Comicon, most likely an audio one similar to the one for The Dark Knight.
From what I understand, TDKR is not going to be represented at ComiCon this year. In fact a lot of the major tentpole movies aren’t going to be there.
since they are stating that the teaser will be over a minute and a half long i would expect some footage.
I agree man. 93 seconds is a lot of time for a teaser. Hard to imagine there won’t be any footage.
The Sherlock Holmes news is exciting as well.
You’re seriously just finding this out? This has been circulating for a good two months now, that the Dark Knight Rises teaser will be attached to Harry Potter…

I by no means want to be a buzz kill but we just opened the digital drive for Harry Potter part 2 and it appears there s nothing hinting towards the dark knight rises. So we will see
We got our drive and IMAX drive today too. Thing is though, the digital only has Sherlock Holmes 2 on it (trailer looked good too btw and it’s scope unlike the first) while usually movies have an attached and enclosed trailer on them. Also I noticed the time on the IMAX one is a minute or so longer than the regular. It could be attached to the front of the movie for the IMAX. Also the trailer could be sent later on a flash drive and unlockable with a key. I remember the trailer for TDK needed a key to play. Pretty much we won’t find out until the key for the movie comes in and unlocks.
Same at the theater I work at but i’m more sure that it’ll be seperate flash drive. I’ll be lucky if i get to see it on the 35mm prints wed night!
‘Til this day, the TDK trailer still gives me goosebumps from just the audio. Hard to see a trailer that leaves you with much anticipation. Editors need to take notes and mind you this was 3 years ago. Can’t wait to see what Nolan has in store for the grand finale!
I call FAKE on that BANE pic too, reason? I saw that same image on IGN years ago, before TDK came out. Not sure wether it was fan made or from something else.
Looking forward to seeing a teaser, but hope the trailers dont reveal too much.

It must have been a different picture that you saw because the Bane picture featured in this article is an official release from the studio.
If this is true… then this just put the extra special Cherry on top of an already glamorous looking cake!:D

My two cents….. The DK teaser is even cooler now having already seen the movie numerous times and hearing Heath Ledger’s voice as the Joker instantly conjures up visions of his awesome performance it almost makes me want to pop in the blu-ray and watch it again.
