New Portraits from THE DICTATOR Starring Sacha Baron Cohen

     February 23, 2012

In a matter of curious timing, a few new images from the upcoming comedy The Dictator have come online. Star Sacha Baron Cohen is currently embroiled in a “controversy” in that he may or may not have been banned from Sunday’s Academy Awards for possibly planning to maybe show up on the red carpet perhaps dressed up as his character from The Dictator. Never mind the fact that we’ve heard not a word of confirmation from Cohen’s camp during all of this (publicity!). But I digress. The film actually looks really funny, and these new portraits highlight the ridiculousness of Cohen’s latest character.

Hit the jump to check out a couple of the portraits. The film also stars Ben Kingsley, John C. Reilly, Megan Fox, and Anna Faris. The Dictator opens May 11th.
