Though the typical lead stars of The CW shows are normally within the Millennial-friendly 20s-30s range, the best series have at least one veteran actor onboard as a mentor and confidant. Supernatural has Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) and John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), The 100 has a whole space station full of adult advisors, and The Flash has two father figures in Henry (John Wesley Shipp) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin). However, that last show also has the talented Tom Cavanagh as an often duplicitous mentor in Harrison Wells, a character who has quite literally changed faces and traveled across space and time.

So when Cavanagh stopped by to talk to DC Entertainment for a preview of this week's DC Comics/The CW shows, you can't help but ask yourself, can we trust anything he says? This is a guy who's played a character who was in turn playing another character, then reappeared as a doppelganger of that character from another Earth. He's shady, but also undeniably cool. Watch the video interview for yourself to decide just how much you're willing to believe the man behind Harrison Wells.
