Warning: Possible spoilers
Are you still reeling from the events of The Flash and Arrow crossovers last week? The stakes continue to rise on both shows, especially now that Barry (Grant Gustin) has had to access the Speed Force to travel back in time in order to save Oliver (Stephen Amell) and their loved ones, after a failed attempt to defeat Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). But just because Savage is (for now) literally dust, that doesn't mean that things are slowing down in Central City.
In images from the midseason finale, "Running the Stand Still," we see the return of the Trickster (Mark Hamill, who looks like he's having a ball), as well as Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller -- fitting for the winter finale, ammirite?), and the introduction of a new character in Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) that is about to shake up Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris' (Candice Patton) world.
In lighter news, though, it looks like there is a lot of cozying up happening -- are Jay (Teddy Sears) and Caitlyn (Danielle Panabaker) hanging mistletoe? Are Barry and Iris having a heart to heart? But what about Patty (Shantel VanSanten)? (Also, apparently Patty now knows Barry's superhero identity ...) And did no one invite ole Harry (Tom Cavanagh) to the party? Come on, guys! He's not Earth-1 Wells! (but he definitely has some secrets ...)
