One of the films getting some positive buzz out of SXSW is the goofy-looking The FP. The film played as part of the SXFantastic lineup (1 of 5 midnight films programmed by Fantastic Fest). The definitely NSFW trailer makes the movie look like a must-see mash-up of Rocky, The Warriors, You Got Served, and the popular video game Dance Dance Revolution. I don’t know what to make of this film, but people I trust who saw it at SXSW dug it. Hopefully it will get picked up for distribution soon so I can see this madness.

I don’t know about this. It looks a bit…off.
So bad it overstepped good and went back to bad. I personally think its the dodgy european dance music.
I presume they haven’t licensed any known songs but bad music isn’t ironic or satire it’s just bad.
Meh. Kinda like that RUBBER movie. It’s fake enthusiasm.
That’s pretty awful.
But they clearly managed to get an actor friend to take her shirt off so well done.
Directors and Writers that make this crap put burn out talented crew. It sucks because they’re left with a calling card that they’re embarrassed to use on their showreel.
You’re all mad. This looks amazing.
