The gang from The Hangover are booking a trip to Thailand! Probably. When we spoke to director Todd Phillips in March, he denied rumors that the sequel would take place in either Thailand or Mexico. But a source indicates to Coming Soon that stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha are indeed in store for a Thai shoot, so it’s possible Phillips was just trying to throw us off the trail.
Assuming you can believe the rest of what Phillips had to say, Warner Bros. is planning a November shoot for the sequel to the surprise 2009 hit; The Hangover 2 is slated for release on May 26, 2011. In the meantime, you can see Phillips and Galifianakis work together again (with Robert Downey Jr. thrown in for good measure) in the November 5th comedy Due Date.
