Warner Bros. has announced that The Hobbit fans will get another look at the middle chapter in the trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug, tomorrow.  In the meantime, those fans can enjoy Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and the dwarves fighting through a tangled web of Mirkwood spiders.  It could be a really fun sequence that plays like an expanded version of the Shelob scene from Return of the King.  Or it could be something completely different.  Either way, it’s dwarves battlin’ giant spiders.  Sounds good to me.

Hit the jump to check out the banner, and come back tomorrow morning to watch the new trailer.  The film also stars Ian McKellan, Richard Armitage, Sylvester McCoy, Orlando Bloom, and Evangeline LillyThe Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in 2D, 3D, and HFR 3D on December 13th. [Update: Warner Bros. has released two more banners featuring Lee Pace as the Elvenking, Thranduil, and Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman.  You can check out the banners after the jump.]
