With a little over a month to go before The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in theaters, director Peter Jackson is reaching out to fans to take part in a live Q&A about the second film in his The Hobbit trilogy. The event will begin today, November 4th at 5pm ET, at which point Jackson, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, and Andy Serkis will answer questions live onscreen. Jackson will be in New Zealand for the event, while the cast will be split between New York and London, but everyone will be taking part in the Q&A at the same time—thanks technology!
You can watch the event live starting at 5pm ET after the jump. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in 2D, 3D, and HFR 3D on December 13th.
