We’ve got a couple new posters to share. Here’s what’s coming at a glance:
- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 – We’ve seen two different sets of character posters for the third installment of the Hunger Games franchise (here and here), but neither included one for our heroine, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence). However, Lionsgate finally released one for The Girl on Fire. You can’t see her face in it, but it’s still something.
- Shelter – We’ve also got a new poster for Paul Bettany’s directorial debut, Shelter. This one stars Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Mackie as two homeless people living on the streets of New York. It’s due to screen at TIFF on Friday, September 12th.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
Hannah (Jennifer Connelly) has done terrible things but she hasn’t lost hope. Having succumbed to a shattering drug addiction, she now seeks shelter on the streets of New York. Tahir (Anthony Mackie) has done terrible things, too, although he is more secretive about his past. They find each other in Manhattan, but this is a different kind of New York love story.
