The Interview could be the cure for the common awards season.  While I like that the end of the year brings more adult-oriented fare, I also love some good, hard-R comedy, and since Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s follow-up to This Is the End was pushed back from October to December, that means my holiday season will probably have some delightfully filthy and vulgar jokes.  At any time of year, The Interview would look like a must-see film, but I’m particularly glad to have it land in the calendar right now.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 20 admit-two passes to The Interview.  Hit the jump to find out how you can see the movie early and for free.  The film stars James Franco, Seth Rogen, Lizzy Caplan, and Randall ParkThe Interview opens December 25th.

To enter for a chance to win an admit-two pass, send an e-mail to Collider.Passes@gmail.com with the subject line “THE INTERVIEW”.  The screening is on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00PM at Regal Atlantic Station, so don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable.  Multiple entries from a single person will disqualify all entries from that person.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer:

And here’s the official synopsis for The Interview:

In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show 'Skylark Tonight.' When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the most unlikely candidates, to 'take out' Kim Jong-un.
