Here’s the official synopsis for The Lego Movie:

“The LEGO® Movie,” the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, opens in theaters February 7, 2014. It stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.

The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

0191232q1, I am with you there, I am so sick of the CGI films passing as animation films. Such lazy work put into them, and most filled with lazy humor, bathroom humor and other stupid things.

I was at Best Buy yesterday, looking for some of the Disney classics, found ‘Robin Hood’ (1973), and ‘The Great Mouse Detective’, and ‘The Black Cauldron’ all on DVD, some of the best animated films. Found them after looking forever for them. I asked Best Buy a year ago if they could stock those types of films more, this is the first time I have noticed them. Had to blow through all the lazy, crappy, lame cgi crapfest so called animated movies.

Sounds like you are just living in the past and think that those “Gems” are the only good thing out there. sounds like its more about change that you hate and not the actual movies cause you just basically said that everything that Pixar put out was crap. You’re an idiot. While you’re at it throw in Beauty and the Beast and every animated film after that being as there are CGI and Altered CGI effects and animation in all those films too. Not to mention all of the old Disney films lied to kids about the myths they were based on and many of those kids grow up and sound like idiots in class when they go “Nooooo John SMith loved Pocahontas.”

Is anyone else super excited for this movie like me? Looks great, and Chris Pratt’s voice work cracks me up.
