Today, we’re pleased to bring you an exclusive look at The Master Cleanse poster. The film is “the story of a group of people who attend a spiritual cleansing retreat, only to discover that the cleanse releases more than everyday toxins and traumatic experiences...” The press release describes the picture as a dark comedy, and I think that’s the way to make this premise work. Cleanses are a joke that don’t work and come with serious side effects.  May as well make a monster a side effect.

Check out the poster below, which was designed by Phantom City Creative’s Justin Erickson (hopefully, companies will continue the trend of hiring artists to do posters). Bobby Miller’s feature directing debut is currently in post-production, and stars Johnny Galecki, Anna Friel, Oliver Platt, Anjelica Houston, and Kyle Gallner.  XYZ Films is currently shopping the film around Cannes.
