Earlier this month, the first set photos from Alex Kurtzman's reboot of The Mummy surfaced, revealing the title creature as played by Sofia Boutella (Kingsman, Star Trek Beyond). Today, we have look at the more human side of the Universal Pictures' monster movie. It features the smiling faces of a fashionable foursome of (presumable) heroes as production moves from London to the more fitting setting of the Namib Desert in Namibia, Africa.
Seen in the image are The Mummy stars Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis as Jenney Halsey, Tom Cruise as Tyler Colt, and Courtney B. Vance. Written by Jon Spaihts, The Mummy also stars Russell Crowe as Dr. Henry Jekyll and could conceivably feature our first look at Javier Bardem as Frankenstein's monster, should the studio decide to start threading together their shared universe together, starting with the first film's debut on June 9, 2017.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from her, is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.
From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.
