Relativity Media has released the first The November Man trailer for director Roger Donaldson’s (The Bank Job) action thriller.  The film stars Pierce Brosnan as an ex-CIA operative who is brought back in on a personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil in a deadly game involving high-level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.  It’s fun to see Brosnan back in Bond-esque mode, and the prospect of him appearing alongside former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko is neat, but this trailer paints the film as taking itself very, very seriously.  Hopefully there’s some fun to be had once we get into the thick of it, because as of now The November Man just looks like another gritty, generic riff on Taken.
