THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG Trailer

Yahoo! Movies has a new trailer for Disney’s vivid return to hand drawn animation, “The Princess and the Frog,” and it looks sharp. The film is a twist on the classic story in which the fabled kiss turns the princess into another frog instead of the frog into her prince. If you’ve seen the old trailer–and if you’ve seen any Disney movies, “Up” included, in the past six months, you have–you’ve seen about half of the footage in this new one. But there are definitely some new shots to see and some new voices to hear. Plus the picture looks just damn beautiful. Check out the new trailer after the jump.

“The Princess and the Frog” opens December 11th.

    I was looking forward to this but the trailer makes it look TERRIBLE!

    I can’t believe we have to endure more flatulence jokes, bad songs and WAY over-the-top musical dance numbers ala Be Our Guest.

    Looks like the Disney formula will not be advanced with this. :(
