Screen Gems has released the trailer for their upcoming horror film The Roommate starring Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights the TV series). The film is about a young woman (Kelly) who discovers that her college roommate (Meester) is a little too over-protective/psychotic/murderous. Worst. Freshman year. Ever. The Roommate looks like an important cautionary tale about setting boundaries with your new college roommate. And if she doesn’t have any other friends, then that bitch is crazy.

Another copycat plot similar to ‘SINGLE WHITE FEMALE’, the only difference is, it takes place in college SMDH. I wonder what studio execs and producers are thinking when they pick such cheesy and predictable scripts to grace the screen.
I don’t care how horrible this thing looks. I will see absolutely anything that Minka Kelly is a part of.
Just when you think its lame, they always slip in that shot of two girls kissing. How could you not check it out?
